if Burn damage has no DMG cap and scales purely from ATK, wouldn't it be feasible to build a pure DOT character that stacks all the useless +ATK boosts?

i would try it on Fraux but mine is not even lvl 100 yet. very curious to know if pure DOT characters are possible.

So for my CPUs should I be building them like any other build? Focus on getting stun/hp mains with damage cap secondaries and use the same cap up skills in their masteries or what?

I don't really know how it works on other characters or if it depends on what attack applies it, but the Fraux ticks from her mastery trait in the last thread seem to be pitifully below 1000 damage a tick even after switching all my dmg cap sigils and traits to pure Attack for a bit. You can only have one stack from this source too, it seems. I really don't get what they're thinking with this one, maybe I'm doing something wrong though.

You probably do want their support builds to be their best, but having the combo character's best build be the one that requires the least knowledge, skill and combos to use is like a huge slap in the face.

Fediel's master traits exemplify this issue the best. All those interesting facets of her kit with Voidskip, stomps, cooldown cuts and claw strikes? They all lose to spamming purple balls 20 thousand times (which technically is only part of that particular master trait, with the other part of it being ignored)
