Boring.
Tales of the Sword was already a little dull, but this was worse. Master is utterly pointless in character packs. I don't have a problem with him in the main story, but he serves no purpose in the character/event packs. They didn't force Lathel/Justia into them all, so they shouldn't force this guy either. Especially when he will never do anything and shouldn't do anything. I don't play a character pack to see this fag steal the show. It's supposed to be about the characters.

Yeah. My initial impression of Cruise Protocol was that the writers awkwardly shoehorned Master in last-second, which is why he didn't do anything. But nothing writing-wise really changed in this second story, so this just seems to be how they want Master portrayed in these event packs. And it's one thing to put the focus on the characters rather than have Master take over, but if he's not going to really do anything, his presence becomes superfluous. I have no problems with his current role in the Master Packs because he does have a role. He doesn't in these event packs, not really.
