We do have endgame modes but they're mostly just for showing off how much money you spent. Like Arknights if you played that, but not Blue Archive where story mode is quite literally automatic.So that all being said I would recommend as a new player who wants to enjoy story content but not care about endgame to roll Kura SS3. Kura is this banner, shes the pink hair girl.Shes almost solely designed for you to auto clear story mode + dungeons while not having to think at all. This makes her terrible for endgame players but amazing for new players. Rerolling might be terrible for this game though so maybe just roll hard into it. If you can get Myaa that would also be great. Fire element is the best budget meta team, you can make them with almost all year 1/2 characters + 1 meta support and it just werks.Note the Aoi banner, the second one, has 100 free rolls on it, thats a special banner so feel free to pull on that one too.

What light needs right now is OD gen much like Ice. They also have no hard defense and their debuff situation is clunky where you have to run two debuffers and still have to use orb skills. No amount of high dps attacker or new overwritter will make light relevant unless they solve those core issues. Which means the only way to save light is to give them a new Aina

Rerun limiteds are kind of comfy too because they share spark points and never expire, so if you get lucky on one you can save it to spark the other one.You also get a surprisingly good Karen attacker for free from the story mode (very late though), she plays in Fire or Ice Teams so its recommended if you want to make her your main attacker then you can work up building a Fire team. Yuki fits in perfectly into this team too.Fire is super easy to build as others have mentioned, most of their "good enoughs to clear side content for rewards" are all welfares with the Fire Overwriter you can get from the Overwriter banner think you can use the paid selector ticket too for Misato Fire overwrite.

You will need to roll a lot for Thunder though. I have teams for all elements but I just overlap them as needed for the best performance. For example most of them run Diva Ruka.

At that point, you can use Ichiko as a support style for Misato and add something else in her place (like Fubuki SS1 for better debuffing or Unison Yuki if you've been able to get her by then).
