They are a lot like coordinated dances.Other than that, expansions usually add some gimmick content like exploration zones, deep dungeons (roguelike dungeon crawler), or crafting zones. They vary in quality and fun. Gearing is strictly linear, and doesn't make any difference other than giving you more DPS and more HP. You don't get new skills or percs from gear. Ultimate raids give you a glowy weapon to flex while AFK in town, and a title. There are no gameplay-significant rewards in the game. It's all about collecting outfits, mounts, titles, minions, etc. Combat gets a bit more interesting, you eventually get more buttons to press, but other than that, it's pretty much the same until the end. There are no status effects, elemental weaknesses, or anything like that. All jobs play like DPS, with some extra responsibilities on the side for healers and tanks, there are no support jobs. Supposedly the next expansion will change this, but who knows.
