I tried this PVE thing and despite everyone saying it's baby mode, etc, it's quite fucking obtuse and took a few tries and a 40 minute youtube video before I could open even one vault and exfil. It's kinda fun I guess but I can see the novelty quickly wearing off. What's the point really? Because I don't think it gives you codex vault progress so I would need to open them in normal cryo I guess to count. Nothing can be kept, only those mode exclusive mcguffins. It's basically season exp farm when everyone and their grandmother is already season level 100+ anyway? I dont ubderstand what the issue is here. Steam has about 4-5k players. Consoles have fuck knows how many. Worst case scenario it can go on PS+ anyway, but eveb without it theres thousands on there too. I've never had to wait more than half a minute for a game. Tarkov, Delta Force, Arena Breakout etc etc arent getting bashed for being "dead" despite queue times up to 45 minutes on some of these games' maps. I'm not a fan of snipers and railguns because they lack utility. Most automatic and semiautomatic guns are good from 0-50 meters, but snipers and railguns are just for long range. The longest range, even, made just for PvP fiends. If you have one of those, then your other guns must cover everything else. I'd rather use precision rifles, they have much more utility.

I think it was just too hardcore/intense and you have to play with a 3 man every day. modern gamers are low-t cucks who are afraid of a competetive game and need to play friendslop garbage or watch their favorite e-celeb spoon feed them an opinion. for me this was the best game since tarkov and played like 300 hours but it got repetetive and theres only a few maps.
