Also the VA was asked to specify what he thinks about Kyo's relationship with each of the kids. He believes that Kyo has the strongest relationship with Tomoro in part because he was asked to look after him, and in part because there's the fear that without guidance he would end up walking a dark path. His relationship with Makoto is kinda non-existent because he isn't a problem child and is independent enough so Kyo just lets him be. And Reina is kind of like Tomoro in that she wants so much to be the reliable eldest daughter that if she lost confidence in that she is needed she would shatter, so Kyo tries to support her by staying out of the way whenever he can so she can feel useful.
