Switch 2 will not get hacked permanently with a software hack. We might only see it pulled off once int the middle of the console life on some lower firmware, if ever.
Switch 2 might get hacked with a hardware hack. It won't be as simple as the RCM one.
Switch 2 will not have a glitching modchip like the picofly because of the dual core lockstep. This means a hardware hack early in the boot process might just never happen or such precise modchip (rather, a glitching setup) will not be feasible for mass production.
Switch 2 might get some quasi-modchip solution that does its job once the system or a game runs. This is the memory glitching path that the usual ethical suspects have hinted at having moderate success with.
All of the above means the only sorta-permanent solution for piracy will most likely be a commercial one. As the history and the court documents show, since the 3DS days there was only one group of people brazen enough to develop such a thing instead of cloning existing devices and their comeback is uncertain.

nta but hdmi cables are very high bandwidth and they tend to get worse over time. I've had multiple cables slowly degrade to where they couldn't reliably do what they were bought for initially, even if they were technically overspecced and decent quality to begin with.
These days I just don't assume any old display cable will work if reused.

It can be as simple as a program that allows something that is not on the original hardware despite it being previously possible (CD playback/3D Blu-ray playback with PSVR2 support for PS5), or maybe wanting someone to port a quality of life feature (Porting an equivalent ofTurbiine which is Turbo mode for Wii U to the PS3, or Sharpscale for other consoles so I can play on 1080p with a lower resolution canvas that allows for sharp pixels at the cost of image space).

I Have a problem with xbox backwards compability on the 360, the Xefu Spoofer won't recognize the xefus saying there isn't any installed, they're in hddx compability folder. I also tried another version of the Spoofer (v3 but weirdly enough Aurora says is still v5)

Also I tried getting the Blades menu working but I keep getting the "Cannot start this game" message

What you do is completely drain the battery now, charge it to 100%, try and play it handheld on full brightness etc. in one sitting if possible to try and get it to 0% again, then charge to 100% again.
Keep doing that over if the battery seems to drain super quick. Then ultimately buy a new battery if it's really fucked still.

Switch V1 SD reader issue. The card only works if I push it deeper than the normal "click" position.

The spring makes a second "click" when I push it further in, but as soon as I let go, it springs back to the normal position and loses connection.

I already tried the paper shim trick (behind the SD card). It worked a couple of times, but now it doesn't work anymore — the reader seems to have worn down further.

So the problem is:
- The physical stop inside the reader is broken/deformed.
- The spring always pushes the SD back to the broken stop position.
- Paper no longer provides enough thickness to override the spring.

I need a more durable temporary physical mod (tape, plastic shim, etc.) that can hold the SD in the deeper "working" position until I replace the reader.

Not looking for software fixes. This is 100% hardware.

I charged it to full and then left smash bros running to drain the battery, and around 60% it started doing all this again. Doing some research on modding my unpatched Switch 1 and I have a quick question before I start this tomorrow.
There is a Switch 1 game that hasn't been dumped yet but I own it digitally. From what I gathered, I can use my Switch 1 to download the game to the System storage, and when I start to mod it tomorrow and use the emuMMC install. Will it copy that game to the emuMMC so I can make a backup of that game to PC as NSP?
