The Devil is the worst ending in terms of outcomes, but the best in terms of dramatic appropriateness and kino factor. The ideal is to do it, but then leave the station when it's too late anyways, singing Never Fade Away to yourself because the engram is gone but Johnny's influence on you remains forever. That moment leading into the Never Fade Away ending cover is what really cemented the game as perfect for me.

V can be a scary woman sometimes
I recently played through all the endings, and I thought the game is really cool, but I kind of have a problem with the narrative. The main narrative is about Arasaka and Johnny, so the Hanako or Rogue endings are the natural ends. However, naturally, everyone will like Panam more than either of those options because they spent way more time ingratiating her to you through side missions that have nothing to do with your main conflict (the relic taking over). Then at the very end the aldecaldos come up with a potential dues ex machina to save you. It feels very tacked on, there is pretty much no reason why V would have any reason to believe they could save you vs. Arasaka or Alt Cunnigham/Rogue, but most people will probably pick that just because they like Panam. Its a great ending in a vacuum, but in the context of the full story its very cheap. They really should have involved Takemura in the other storylines/endings somehow to tie them together, as he is really the one that drives the main story narrative and provides the important lore dumps (and with johnny) along the way.

Johnny getting depressed over V’s sacrifice, and then honoring him with a grave before moving on to have a new life elsewhere, is a narratively genius ending, as it calls back to the oil fields. V using the few months he has left cutting a deal with Mr. Blue Eyes to do the heist of the century, to a place whose adverts you heard as soon as you return home in the near beginning of the game, is also smart, but I don’t think it’s as narratively strong as Temperance.

On driver 26.6.1 its mostly stable, i get very rare driver time outs/crashes while in PM. But 95%+ of my shots work just fine, even in succession. I don't use framegen however. Only FSR3.0 upscaling set to quality, and the game rendering at 3200x1800. In the past I would be able to use PM and PT just fine for a long time, then suddenly with no changes to anything I would randomly start crashing in PM on every photo or if I spent longer than 5-6 minutes inside PM without taking any shots. After 2-3 days of that it would go back to normal and work fine. Just 2077 things I guess as research showed nvidiots had the same random issues. time to stop posting my junk to this thread, done it enough today

By pandering to gamepad babies they rendered using more than one active ability too much of a pain in the ass to bother with meaning the gameplay is way more homogenous than it should be.

And I also must say, I can't imagine how bad this was on release if it's still this buggy. I saw a cop car randomly swerve into the sidewalk, bump several pedestrians and hit a wall. Rather than reverse, the cops all got out of the car, somehow interpreted the civilians they bumped as an 'attack' and started shooting them. This should have been easy as the civilians happened to be obese and thus slow, except they ran around a corner and the cops couldn't pursue them because they got stuck running endlessly into their car doors while firing into the wall in front of them like they had xray vision to their escaping targets.
