Tokon is a game I really want to fucking play but just can't justify right now, so I publicize my negativity because I vainly hope the devs will get the message and improve it. Theres a pattern of publishers developing their own Denuvos like anti tampers and games using them running like ass/having issues. My game is consistently dipping to 59fps, changing the settings does nothing. I can make it a tiny blurry square with it utilizing only a portion of my CPU, still 59 fps. I didn't even notice until I went online and it was giving my friend 8 frames of rollback. The game is fundamentally fucked on PC with tons of rigs that should be able to run it having problems like mine and it wouldn't be an issue if the rollback were better at handling it but it isn't.

I love this fella

I found the meta for Tokon to climb rank easily. You set your fps as low as possible but still able to play. That way you never have to deal with the rollback and lag assuming the other guy isn't more degen than you.

Rollback creates desync even with tiniest stutters so yeah and when stutters occur all the time thats all you get. Whats worse is how hard it is to see and feel these microstutters as often its like screen tearing where you see it but its like whatever this is insanely playable who cares. Framedrops and stuttering are different. When someone skips during every frame then you have rollback spazzing out trying to weirdly catch up in between rendered frame. When someone gets framerate drops from 60 to 55-50 and such then it goes into slomo or skips a lots of entire frames so yeah it actually is on par with how rollback behaves with microstuttery trash like this.

Unironically might be anti tamper kicking in lol. Anti tampering DRMs have trigger checks on certain game functions or during random moments and intervals. Denuvo for example does this and its exactly why its so hard to crack - every single game has these checks put randomly or during specific stuff happening so you have to approach that DRM on game by game basis. Check if one of your CPU threads isnt getting raped during these slowdowns.

Its different. Xrd looks fucking ugly in my opinion, the character designs are bad across the board. There's a weird hyperization in everyone's kit I don't like. Strive is like, what if street fighter was good. My only issue is the slow airdashes but its stull fun to play. +R is my tryhard game. Not every game needs to feel the same for me to like it. I know Tokon is a slower DBZ but that particular style of crack just isn't to my taste.
