I can get around ~136kW of power. also to max out my turbines still leaves me with another 50% that I could open my reactors up with

How do you guys keep all your new runs fresh, or do you have one colony that's been around for ages? I have almost a 1000 hours and every run is starting to feel the same, at least the start. Maybe I ought to actually make it far but the only way I like to play is losing is fun, commitment, and 1 colonist so my runs usually end before we get anything actually going. (1-2 windmills, maybe a solar panel and a kitchen/bathroom). I also use modded story tellers so that factors in as well.

I had big plans to do a mountain base here. The biome is arctic oasis with a caldera that's surrounded by walls. Unfortunately the lack of trees and the decreased animal life modifier has made if difficult to really do anything. We did get a lot of raids early on so there was plenty of meat but that's all gone now. The famine food add-on should allow us to eat all the leather but it'll go quick. Hopefully another raid happen or we're going to have to go scout other tiles. gas power is queued to be built so once that's done we should be able to kick off hydroponics.....we just need to make it to that point.
