I've been looking back through my screencap folders because I finally decided to act on the urge of organizing the fic reviews that one anon did...fucking hell, that was four years ago? That one fic reviewing anon that showed up around 2022, and while doing so I was reminded of an old memory from when my brainrot was so terminal I would read chapters 8-10 of I Won't Let Him every other day. Back when it was still being updated, back when there was only 16 or 18 chapters. I never forgot, but I just stopped thinking about how badly Omori messed me up back in 21. It all feels like a distant dream now. Half-remembered. Might as well not have happened anymore. We've all really changed.54 folders filled with screencaps of posts from my time here. Roughly 100 images each, some less or more. 2021-modern day. Terribly organized and not even attempted to. I haven't looked through any of these in ages. What was the point of it all? Saving these moments realistically only my eyes would see on occasion, most likely just disc space I'd store and forget about or tragically lose. Thinking on it, I resonate with what Basil said. I took these screencaps because I realized there were so many memories, both good and bad, that I was afraid to lose. It didn't matter which. These times were going to pass. /omog/ wouldn't last forever, nothing does. So I wanted there to be some proof we all existed. Before we're all forgotten. When realistically I did it at the time as a memento or didn't think much about it. Man, I get way too sentimental and loose-lipped late at night. The consequences of having time off.
