Ok so like does anyone know how the fuck do you unlock these scenes in Asylum? Some dude on F95 said you have to lose a battle when you're investigating the bar in the slums undercover. But that battle never happens. In fact i beat the game twice and i never fought any bandit at any point. There's a scripted cutscene with bandits at the beginning of the game, but you can't interact with it at all. It says you need the "weak to aphrodisiac" status effect you need from the plant, but even with that this scene never shows up. I know i can look at it in the scene viewer but at this point i need to figure this out

I suggest spending your currency between runs on having rerolls for relics, that way you can guarantee a good relic from your act 1 boss. Ideally a relic that gives extra AP gain. Don't worry if you lose your first few runs, the game is pretty hard. It's all about learning how to play and getting some upgrades between runs. Just have fun with it and seeing Arthur get fucked, you can still win a run after your ascension gauge maxes out too.
