What I did was download a new instance of Comfy Portable (v29 for Krea support) since I didn't want to break my original. Then it's just grabbing the model, vae, and text encoder.

I'm uisng Krea 2 Turbo int8 convrot, so the diffusion model is somewhere between 12.5 and 13.5 GB for each checkpoint. The Qwen vae is 250 MB and the text encoder (fp8) is 5.2 GB. So all told you're going to need like 20 GB of space for 1 checkpoint.

The style helper loras there are optional at 500 MB a pop. The default ComfyUI workflow template NEEDS a lora for the workflow even if it isn't enabled to use in the node. It could be any lora though and most other Krea 2 loras look like they're about 250 MB. When I started I was using that default Krea 2 Turbo int8 template. I moved on to Sololo's template from the Kreamania samples here

My first images were with Kreamania v6, I went back and got the stock Krea 2 Turbo checkpoint to check for how style loras affected it versus Kreamania's inherent style.

Since you use Comfy Manager, you probably have the custom multi-lora loader node. I just replaced that with a lora chain. I also disabled the Save Image node and put a Preview node in so I'm not saving tons since only 8-10 steps with Turbo means not as much variation between seeds, also CFG 1 means no negative prompt. A few more considerations to keep in mind. Krea 2 is based on natural language prompting and it's not trained on boorus like Anima or Illustrious or Pony. That's actually been the more difficult side for me,especially looking at some of the posted Civ images with the Krea prompts. Additionally, I don't know that there's a large segment of anime-based training data, which might be good of bad depending on what you want to do. Lastly, the base models were SFW trained, so if you want to make something spicier, you'll probably need a different checkpoint or loras. I've read that base Krea 2 is resistant to any sort of affection even like getting characters to hug. I haven't tested that myself. Last thing to reiterate is that because it's turbo, you're not going to see lots of variation with the same prompt, which can be sort of frustrating sometimes.

ai studio has a daily, hourly and per minute rate limit. I don't know if the limit increases from usage if you don't have a key. Using a key uses real money though.

it did that to me too, you have to switch to a lite version from the side menu or something like that
you're probably seeing something like this and it won't let you gen, right
on the right side where it says nanobanana 2, click that and it'll give you a bunch of options, and you wanna select the lite version at the top of that

Mostly depends on whether you're genning locally or not. In general I would say experiment, push boundaries, ask for advice because there's just a lot to know depending on how deeply you want to dive. I dunno, just have fun and learn at your pace, it's just sloppin

Ok, so a good landing point would be the Online Image Generators in the first set in the OP. The current most powerful tool is going to be Google Gemini. It's as simple as putting in your autistic prompt and getting your image. If it gives you what you want, great. If not, you'll have to workshop with different syntax, like camera angles, lighting, styles, etc. There are guides for that, aswell.

You can go deeper with local models or LoRA based models, but see what something like Nano Banana can get you. Bing features DALL-E 3(which is simple but bad at character recognition for some characters), and MAI(a little better on character recognition)

See how that goes for you and report back here.

Another note with running two different instances of Comfy Portable. Your user settings will get overwritten when the other instance opens. Basically if you're used to having workflows already open, those are going to "break" going from one to the other. So either make sure you have them setup saved as JSONs, or just have the images that used them handy to drag in for the workflow.

That's how I've been doing it recently actually, dragging the image into the workflow. Though I should really make a folder for it instead of searching through my unsorted mess of a gen dump.

For each type of workflow, when you have it loaded just Save As the tab in the ComfyUI window and it'll make it a JSON based on whatever you name it in your user/default/workflows folder. Then you can just Open that workflow type unless you're actually iterating on something you've already genned which is frequently what I end up doing, even if it's just to have the settings all set and put in a totally new prompt.

My advice is that Illu is a lot more forgiving in terms of baking parameters, and character loras are a lot more forgiving than style or concept loras

If you want to do a style lora for Anima I say go aggressive in terms of steps, with lots of epochs to choose from. Results are more erratic so the higher steps helps ensure it locks in the style while more epochs gives you more "snapshots" to look at to better ensure you find the sweet spot
