(This end of round state is called noten, when you have no winning combination.

You can get plenty good results with even just one light though, just need to place it correctly. The soft shadows are a combination of shaders and using a spotlight with angle set to 0 and falloff turned up instead (this can get very funky with shadows though, be mindful of that).
