So they turn to IP fuckery as a way to flip quick cash, combined with contract shenanigans that even they don't really want to pull (Source: scribbled memos).Liino is aware of all of this, and doesn't want to go down with the ship - so she clings to any golden thigh she can find to shield her from the blowback of breaking her contract. Well, she's probably being sincere when she says that she doesn't appreciate her concerts being used as a lure to get people to sign the group's rigged contracts, she DOES have a heart after all... But I don't think she'd have spun up so many plans for getting out if the company was on firmer footing in general. The stick turns out to be a broken blade that ties the head of Yakuza clan to a murder case. Yakuza clan head orders his enforcer (who's also Haruka's manager) to infect Haruka with oripathy to get rid of her. However Haruka manages to flee. Yakuza head declares on TV that everyone's beloved idol got kidnapped and he will pay for whoever helps to find her. A group of ninja try to capture Haruka, but she beats one of them half to death (twice) with her mic for hurting her potted plant, gain access to television network (with a lot of help from other characters) and tells the public of Higashi the truth behind the agency and Yakuza. The story itself isn't THAT dark and edgy and had a lot of light hearted moments (it was a summer story afterall), but it wasn't plain and inoffensive like Liino's story.
