Generations has Past Sonic already meeting, and in some cases rescuing, them before he would actually meet them during the Dark Age.Something like SA2 or 06 loses power if Sonic already knows who Shadow and Silver are and that they will be his friends in the end.Also, Modern Eggman tells Classic Eggman none of his future schemes will work and C.Eggman kinda swears them off, but that is more of a joke and a lesser issue.
Generations being praised is the reason we still get bland boost slop without any challenge, why they keep bringing back Classic Sonic, and why all the zones keep recycling Green Hill and Chemical Plant

I didnt have a PS360 so I didnt play it until much later. When I did I was kind of disappointed.Then I played the 3DS version expecting to love it since I loved Colors SS and found Colors Wii overated.I was even more disappointed.Generations was good as an anniversary celebration but the game itself is just fine.I don't think its shit but I dont like how it has this sacred cow status for no good reason.
