I've never had a chronic condition before, but over the past year I slowly got diagnosed with a condition called hypertonic pelvic floor. In the past i could just take ibuprofen and say fuck whatever pain came, but not this condition. It is a slow, tedious recovery and I was mentally fine with it for some time, but I guess since I've been flaring up recently it's got me down. There are other things too. I can't seem to get a job, my applications just get denied and I never hear back from people. I feel so demotivated from grad school because of a talk I had with a professor that basically told me because of how fucked up our college is I never got to teach as a Grad teacher so it'll be hard for me to find work even with my degree. I either have to basically restart Grad school somewhere else or suck it up and get my degree at my current college. All of my friends have jobs now and it's a toss up how often I get to VC and play games with them. I stay up until 6-7 am every night because there is nothing that ties me to a consistent schedule. I'm just really lonely.
