Just one match so doesnt mean much yet but I tried out that tank graves build, laning phase was awful but mid/late team fights felt pretty okay, I will say though stacking greens didn't actually make me feel a lot tankier than when I only have 1-2 greens though which is weird. I kinda like it but it's hard to gauge how much impact I'm having during a team fight with the debuffs

They often have to crime of being too reactive (which no matter how solemn your character is just lazy writing).I actually really like Victor btw (same with Silver) but objectively speaking I think their dialogues are pretty weak. Maybe the main cast just had so much more time in the oven that the writers had more confidence/editing. There's also the Geist VN that was scrapped so maybe the writers had to mull of these things for way longer. Sometimes when a character ferments in your head writing good lines for them is just a natural outlet. But inventing a bunch of new heroes and having to write dialouge for a bunch of them you might end up being fine with "good enough" or just having the other characters bounce of them.It also might have to do with a change in direction (like going for less swearing and more clean) too

Pocket even gives the same "I don't need someone looking out for me" as Graves does but instead of it being wrapped in a general comment about the characters he shows a different side to himself by saying he's glad someone actually cares.I wonder if one change in the approach is that with the original cast, they might have expected extra material to accompany the characters, where as with the new batches they know the interactions are kind of their only summarisation so they to serve as introductions. Similar to how many interactions for the original cast is explaining how some abilities might combine
