I haven't seen anyone use Junction Point in the ENspace, but I will look at it because the ult gain does sound nice and my Type 42 (equivalent of Junction; I have that essence maxed atm) gives about 250 INT over Chiv, and for a 7.5 amp boost + the ATT buff (at max pot), that may make up for losing Chiv's good effect while also providing ult gain (losing the better heals is whatever). I might have looked past it due to it being a BP weapon. The only obnoxious part is the glitter in sprinkles, the equipment can be upgraded with a consumable that's only available from a weekly shop restock so it's hard time-gated, and "essences" that enhance weapons also require a lot of time-gated farming to max out. It's possible to clear endgame content without maxing those things so it's entirely optional, but if you want to be a super-autismo competing on shortest possible clear times, you'll need that extra Nth degree. Things are fairly well balanced all things considered.
