Why does forest have two different forms of buff deck but no cards where having their stats buffed up to a certain point will trigger something extra? Like a 2/2 where if its attack reaches at least 5 it will deal 5 damage to the enemy board. So you could increase it through Thestae buffs or hand buffs or evo.

Having no removal at all on play, means you can't play it against the average board you'll face on turns 6 to 10 (it can't remove boards like Cesar, Camscilla, Wilnas, Adahime, Verdilia, Althenia, basically any common power play for those turns). Can board lock you. Only 1 playable card from the entire archetype to support it (bunny slut). It's genuinely a worse archetype than even bottom of the barrel shit like truth or unkilling. At least Truth has Velcunny and the the 9pp ugly bastard, both of which saw occasional play, and are just generic good cards, and unkilling rewards you with an otk for playing its jank trash. This is just jank trash that rewards you with a fucking chaos legion. Truly baffling how they shipped this archetype, and this legendary, and he was supposed to be the "big bad" of the expansion lore wise.
rodeo is not even *that* weak in a vacuum. the problem is not with just rodeo himself, but with his entire package.the set 6 amulet package is anti synergistic with the set 5 one. they are 2 entirely different archetype even. one wants you to pop the amulets, the other one wants you to keep them on the field. one plays for control game plan, the other plays for a more "tempo" and midrange game plan, trying to end the game with the storm bird and rodeo burn (it's hard to even call it tempo or midrange because they are so bad but you get the idea...). think back to truth rune and spellboostthe simple "fix" that makes sense right now is to move the "3 amulets on field" condition from his amulet to his fanfare, like initia. this instantly makes him playable with the set 5 archetype...somewhat. they are still two clashing game plan, even initia eventually got cut down to 1x/2x because it's just too hard to line them up. this fix also doesn't address the issue with his archetype.there isn't enough good amulet that actually want to stay on the field, so the better fix would be to dedicate new cards for the archetype, amulets that summon follower on countdown/engage, amulets that deal damage on countdown/engage, cards that can extend countdown, etcfundamentally speaking, amulet and tempo just aren't a good pairing, they won't change that any time soon.storm haven was bad for the same reason too, and so this rodeo amulet archetype will probably stay bad for its entire lifespan. there's already plenty of bad archetypes in this game that will never see any love, and rodeo amulet isn't anything special
