That said, Amana’s progression in it is cute, and I think the actual art of the card is fantastic as her depiction in it is very thematically satisfying, especially when juxtaposed with earlier art like P-SSR7. I’ll probably TL it and do a much more in-depth write-up after I get a TL for P-SSR13 done. While they’re only tangentially related, I believe it’s still better to experience them in order. Don’t know when I’ll get around to that though, since there’s a few things I need to get done before mid-September.

The line itself acknowledges the regard Amana had always held for SCP that contrasts the conspicuous lack of Plove in the content prior. This, in tandem with the heartbeat she experiences after the line is played, acts as the emotional floodgate opening for Amana, as the focus of her attention moves from her slump and the shoot, to SCP, the attention he’s garnering, competition, and her own inadequacies in her inability to move forward. Amana’s ability to concentrate and perform deteriorates further as continue to ruminate, where Amana’s conversation with her friends act as a call back to P-SSR10, which serves to subtly forefronts her intentional choice of stagnation as juxtaposed to her predicament introduced in this commu.

This is especially pertinent as it ties her Plove into one of Amana’s larger intrinsic flaws as someone who has difficulty following through with things she wants for herself. This is reflected obviously here and in P-SSR10, but the flaw is similarly highlighted in momoiro as she attempts to give her position on apricot to Chiyuki, as well as the fact her initial interest in idoling had little to do with what she wanted but rather because she thought Tenka would be perfect for it, as explored in her STEP.

Sad news, I tried several times but I couldn't really hit S4 with a Good Impression idol trying to use a Yaruki build (Am currently PLv 76), I just kept getting Good Impression cards and even though I would still get all the must-have Yaruki cards to get a big score I couldn't get enough of the other Yaruki cards to support the build since the game will obviously favor giving you Good Impression instead of Yaruki stuff, the idea was doomed for the start... When buying cards from Asari, 3 out of 4 cards would be Good Impression cards, when doing Odekake and going for the 50 Points option, the 2 sets of cards would seem to always be Good Impression cards and so on, the only way to guarantee getting Yaruki stuff was from the consultation option where you directly pick what type of card you want to receive/switch.I WILL have to get to PLv 79 if I want to hit S4 with a Good Impression idol or get lucky and get a Yaruki card of my idol eventually.
Objectively speaking, only a few of these idols will be a good wife in the long run. I bet most of them can't even cook and do the chores.
