I just cleared 3.7. Overall it was a great chapter, mostly. It has a similar feel to Apeiron in a way that there's so much information density through various perspectives, but instead of being split into 3 chapters, they did it in just 1 this time. 25 nodes + extra tidbits in golden mini modes + mini nodes in timeline + extras in relation chart. and there's still Rhiannon and Ms.Stranger(?)'s unvoiced story chapter that I haven't read. Ms.Stranger character arc is done really well that she should've been the Limited character, not that literal who mahou shoujo with hoyoslop outfit and Merel's face.However, there’s also plenty things I dislike about the chapter1. Arcana: "fufu... I got what I want, so it's time to retreat" *in Kiseki antagonist vibe* no fuck you didn't. you greeted the shota president and he outright rejected you and told you meaningless things that you already knew! Writer should've let her ACTUALLY speak with the King of Foundation or whatever his name, doesn't matter if it's off-screen inside the dark barrier. This shit made the entire raid feels pointless2. After the end of chapter, in the relation chart, it said that Igor sent letter to Foundation that they’d send Lopera and friends back. Well, I finished the new chapter. It was quite good, really exciting. I think a main chapter hasn't had that kind of sheer momentum since Chapter 7.I'm even very OK with you-know-what. The only thing I dislike is that they made Rhiannon such a character? Hard to explain what I mean. She's too silly and upbeat and it felt like tonal whiplash. I would have preferred they left the "finding her" off to another time, maybe just left on the knowledge that she's still out there, maybe had Vertin come to terms with the fact that even if they did find her, she wouldn't be the same person, and thus choose not to go in search of her at all?But thematically it's a perfect fit for where the story was headed. Merel was always doomed and her death was heavily foreshadowed so that didn't upset me and felt fairly obvious. And I think the idea of being tempted by the existence of the person you once knew in a different form, this time a person so close to Vertin, makes a lot of sense from a story point of view.Overall very good chapter. Not quite up there with chapter 11 or chapter 7 but still one of the stronger main story chapters in my opinion.
