I just tried Sonic Horizons for the first time. It's pretty nice; I like the controls. It takes some getting used to because I keep double-tapping the jump button for Homing Attack when I need to press the X button. You've got flow and momentum, but not a ridiculous amount that makes Sonic fly over levels. Rail grinding has proper physics like SA2's. I don't like wall jumping/running being restricted to specific walls, though.It's good.

At the presidential house, Sonic & Tails together both take out all of Eggman's robots in a flash. Sonic & Tails race through the Land of Darkness together like its a Classic Sonic game. Sonic & Tails both fight Metal Robotnik or Dark Eggman or whatever together, and both struggle until Knuckles shows up. It's only after Metal is introduced that their paths diverge and Tails hacks into Metal using the watch and stuff while Sonic is dealing with Metal himself alone. OVA Tails is my favorite depiction of Tails that captures the entire range of his character perfectly.
