The 1.0 additions really make the older pals look kind of shit. Wixen and Katress just can't stand up to Majex/Sekhmet. Gobfin and Finsider also look fuck ugly and old compared to like Amione, Pupperai, Clovee, etc. The only old pals that seemed to receive touchups and still look okay are like Cattiva, Chillet, and Lamball.

With alpha, the effect is boosted by 400% when fully condensed. And it works actually everywhere including synthesizer. That's why you don't need Anubis, because with skill books Sekhmet will always outperform Anubis even at mining.

Palworld fills a decent number of JRPG fantasy trope check boxes with things like farming villages, a desert city, ancient futuristic civilizations, floating islands, elves, and a world tree. If it had a deeper narrative, a stronger human npc presence, and maybe some voice acting, I can see it competing with the likes of JRPGs made by Square Enix, Bamco and Monolith Soft.
