ever since i got to sent back into the celestial mines ive actually been playing more magneto, thing, and invis more since why not at that point and im bewildered at how broken magneto isi played him just enough to lord him in season 0 and i remember him being a very polarizing tank because he sucked compared to strange but i honestly think he's the best tank in the game, like even if you have meh support players who dont consistently heal you still basically avoid death with all the self shielding and stall power. And his ult is so reliably good at cucking poke characters mid fight that you actually contribute to saving teammates or helping someone win a duel.
