>>578374816ecghh, please excuse me, i am not good at explaining or teaching art stuffs or even providing examples cause its been 5000 years since i was a beginner, but i will try. basically starting with a sketch and then erasing the construction lines or otherwise refining it afterwards makes your art way more likely to look good. on the whiteboard i sketch very lazily or not at all, but it is not what i do outside of the whiteboard. i have been drawing for many years and not sketching is not good practice for the best result and not something i would do with a 'serious drawing'. if you are new, trying to put down your 'final lines' before you've got the general shape of the thing you are drawing will make for a poor resultfacial features are more likely to be disproportionate or float around out of place on the head, angles might be off or you might have trouble turning the head, etc etc. having construction lines on the face for example can ground the eyes and muzzle in place.there are a lot of different ways to construct the head or body when sketching.. and honestly i'm really not sure if the way i do it is the 'right way' so i don't want to give potentially poor advice on that front.. but i hope i explained why it's worth giving a shot. if you find that drawing with construction lines (with the intention of erasing them later) is too confusing and messy, you can try either sketching or lining in a smaller brush, and you can also try making your sketch a different color from your lines.

The Mantle holder is also very likely related to the demontexts from Undertale (the "humble servant" one) which, along with the ARG emails, probably means it operates on a level of reality where it could force its way into the intro sequence if it wanted to. This isn't super solid evidence, but at the very least, I think it's capable of swiping the vessel from wherever they went when they got discarded, even if it's not the second voice itself.
