Getting back into the Dragon Ball series and there seems to be a lot of new games that released. I was wondering if I should buy Dragon Ball: Kakarot or Dragon Ball Sparkling Zero. I'm just getting the base game for them no DLC. Dragon Ball: Kakarot looks like nu-Legacy of Goku, an RPG centered on Goku's adventure. It is the cheaper game, but it seems most of the gameplay is just grinding. Dragon Ball Sparkling Zero looks like nu-Budokai Tenkachi. It's more pricey, but it's said to be the ultimate Dragon Ball fighting game.

Spam the X button, knock them away, and finish with a special move. Bosses will get hyper armor and you'll have to dodge and block moves. It's a play once and be done with it but it's a decent amount of content for what it is.

If you think about it Daima was basically the one piece arc loop. The crew shows up on a new island and walk around for the first 10 episodes. They meet some characters and learn how bad things are. There's some lore drop and flashbacks of what happened in the place before. Then the very tail end they give you some fights and the kingdom is free.The dragon ball arcs are tournaments or evil people showing up. For tournaments they train for it and there's usually one dude that's the main threat. For the villain arcs they're made aware of some threat and they prepare for it. Then things usually go off the rails from what they were expecting and things get worse.

What was the point of Daima? Its finale literally left us with more questions than answers, answers we'll probably never get considering Toriyama is six feet under.
