Some of them are a bit meta like IS2 crimson solitaire's story being a deliberately out of order disorientating tale of a man returning to a performer's troupe to save his friend or IS3's what-if simulations for the future if everything came up in the fishe's favor.

I think after OC2. You have a lot to be disappointed. FGO is much more of a compelling read because it is able to blend ridiculousness with actual stakes. If you think about it, each LB is us genociding an entire universe and yet it’s not just doom and gloom which is what Arknights is most of the time. But the gameplay is just LOOPING. It’s watching an NP over and over and over. The grind is god awful. But it speaks to how good the story is that people stay despite that. Arknights is the reverse. Extremely streamlined UI and dailies. Extremely dynamic gameplay (assuming you like tower defense) but the story is just “Ok”. It’s extremely wordy and you get less hijinks if you’re used to FGO. FGO humor blows Arknights out of the water. Color scheme is more muted and grey and character designs don’t have all the funny facial expressions of FGO. FGo character designs are more colorful and dynamic with their ability to express emotion and frustration. I think saber has like what 50 different faces and body poses she can have, while Arknight characters have like 5. Arknights main story I enjoyed up until chapter 11. When it goes deep into politics and you start to realize just how many words you’re reading. Undertides side story is interesting because of Sea. I liked that side story. I would never tell anyone to start playing FGO in the year 2026 but I just started playing Arknights in 2026 and the new player experience is very nice. Assuming you start on some main event. And not Bellone.
