Went against a basement bubba (awesome) who was a streamer, checked his twitch and turns out he’s in some sort of discord contest to get 4K’s (tracked by screenshots). Apparently I ruined that game for him because they don’t count it if he survivors are running sub optimal builds (I don’t play with perks). The funny part is I was doing fun but the dead hard squad all decided to run into basement one by one and get clobbered.

I wish dying light had an actual substantial effect. They are so scared of giving the killer any reward for hooking. If survivors are willingly trying to get hooked when they're not death hook to distract you from other players I feel like that's a problem. I think a big problem with the game right now is if survivors hold distance and just keep W keying, if you just walk to them to catch up you will lose gens by the time you even have a chance to attack them. You are forced to camp and patrol and not overcommit, yet you run out of kicks. It's just unreasonable and if survivors know how to take advantage of this you're just fucked.

To get the "Path To Salvation" achievement, you must actually do a full heal after a generator is being completed. This means having a survivor heal you after repairing a generator. You cannot get progress with Plot Twist, Unbreakable, No Mother , Adrenaline , Resurgence. It helps to have Leader or Circle of Healing. This achievement is dumb because even with a healing boost , most perks alone don't allow you to heal a full health state within 10 seconds.

Their complaints that seemed fair were on some of the gen snipes the pillar came very quick for reaction, but the sound of the aiming pillar is there. Maybe it's hard for people getting used to her to differentiate the directional audio of the aim when nearby vs afar. I think a reasonable nerf would be to make the aim pillar visible from a bit further away. The strategy to make it a bit more difficult to react is to wait until last second on the cast so they don't see it from so far. Snipes would be a bit less viable then, and I wouldn't be so against having to try to throw them off with the aim. I just don't want the killer's macro pressure to be gone entirely. It's a big part of what makes them fun and unique.

That can happen though. I think a big problem this game is they didn't heal almost at all except for right after unhooks, and while heretical so when I exile someone I get killer instinct on them. They just stuck gens injured and separate from each other. Heal perks, even something like wglf while sticking together a bit more could have made things more difficult for me, they are just too afraid of getting double tapped. You also have to admit that a lot of the chase hits while I'm W keying them could have been avoided with better movement. I think forcing this killer to down as a 110% is probably the worst possible idea on the planet. Just give survivors more info on the aiming so that there's more back-and-forth happening for each hit. On outdoor maps this is already more visible.

This build is great, Deerstalker Telereceptor and Gearhead gives me basically unlimited aura read. I've gotten good at hitting people running from me and I'm getting pretty consistent hitting them when they're close range as well. This killer won't make it to Christmas before they're nerfed.

A target already injured = 0 value3. Survivors make ~15.5m of space after being hit without STBFL, or ~11m with fully stacked STFBL. Since you're a m1 killer, they almost guaranteed to find a tile to loop you anyway = 0 value4. You could literally tunnel and kill somebody in 4 hits, almost guaranteing a win, STBFL = 0 valueAnd so on...

I feel like i've been fucked by mmr changes as new player, before it was common to get guys that had like few hundred hours or even 1k but there were always 1-2 jobbers to make up for it, now its 4 survivors with tryhard perks, usually at least 2 of them are prestige 100i have 150 hours myself and if you could combine all of my bp into one character i doubt it would be even prestige 30

I aim it straight at them, let it go all the way past them, then just face away from them completely and launch it in completely the opposite direction. the fact that I can't possibly aim this dead on makes up for the fact that they will dodge in an unpredictable direction, and it hits most of the time.

this killer has a fairly counterable chase power, for the most part. but why the fuck does this killer have this much macro control? her ability to entirely skip and deny hooking makes her the most time efficient killer for securing kills by far (pyramid head exists but just dont run into his trails and you're fine). i like it, but...why? why did this killer need this specifically? but by far the most egregious, braindead shit is how she can mash her 40+ meter death beam every few seconds at any generator/totem on the map. it's by far the most braindead shit you can do with this killer by shitting out your beam on any stationary aura on the map, and you take healthstates for it unlike artist. the counterplay is just hopping off of a generator the moment you hear the audio queue, which is the most boring and uninteractive shit to deal with, stalling so much time. and maybe it wouldnt be such a problem if the audio queue for her beam of light was actually audible and didnt move at 40 meters per second from 50 meters away, but you have maybe a few tenths of a second to dodge that shit the moment you see the beam's aura as its cast.such a shame too, because i find this killer to have one of the most unique anti-loops in the entire game and such an interesting kit, only to get boiled down to a point and click merchant that's insanely unfun to play against

how do you learn fancy mind games as a killer?every time I attempt to try something smart the person I am chasing just ends up pressing w running the fuck punishing me in a silly simplistic way, most of my favorite killers are m1 so going up against someone way better feels very hardand is there like a good brainlet friendly way to decide when should you break pallets and when try to focus on moving around?
