Its not too bad because you'll eventually have strong enough auto material gathering stuff that you can largely ignore the systems, its just kind of busy work to make yourself stronger and spread influence over the school. The requirements for the true route can be a little opaique but basically you just have to go in knowing you have to do the violence and lust routes first and that getting the kanae variation of either doesn't count before the game will let you do the true route. Which has a segment where you have to gear out multiple 4 man parties for the final showdown but thankfully your given enough strong story characters that can carry themselves that its not too hard.

I'm currently playing the latest (weeks/months old) Avantgarde ge and it's 1000% times an improvement from their last ge which starred the dog boy protagonist and the 2 shallow heroines who immediately fell in love with the protag. That ge also features the handsome prince charming "bull" who's actually very kind but can be sadistic as well which fell flat to most players in terms of reception. The gameplay portion of that one also is pretty soulless RPGM standard combat with barely any thought put into it (the skills and skill trees are generic). Most enemies are fodder that dies in one AOE/ auto attack spam and bosses never even pose a threat. The split map directions between each heroine and their respective quests/story progress also feels lucklaster. The main problem of that game is catering between vanillafags, ntrfags, and ntsfags. It's kinda like mixing oil, water, and substance x.Meanwhile the new game feels like a long /full story rougelike in which the skills have several archetypes/builds and is pretty unique compared to standard RPGM combat (even though it's still rpgm combat at it's base, the changes make it stand out enough).
