If you get a lead and they have this obstacle for the next rift it's a play to just go mid if you have mid secure like lash/dynamo/yamato/ivy etc. Even if they get 1 walker kill out of it you normally wind up sweeping all of theirs in turn and raping their jungle and starting a snowball. I think it's a winning play to trade first rift for walker. It was the same with KOTH urns.
