Seasonal play should just be a PvPslop engagement mode. Remove all the legacy tasks and storyline nobody cares about, replace them with PvP dailies and weeklies that tell you to go to a named location (gives a reason to PvP on maps and map areas that are abandoned by the playerbase these days) and get kills or do KoTH or whatever. Make all in-demand loot like high pen ammo, high tier attachments, scopes, etc. be PvP reward only or from seasonal lootcrates. Also do more random daily events like guaranteed boss on a map for a few hours or juiced loot spawns but scav raiders are on the map.

People fear pushing way more in tarkov, it's not like battlefield where someone will kamikaze rush just to finish a few people off.That and this system can't be interacted with by solo players at all. Like it's such a massive disadvantage, considering it's optional in the first place. If you're a squad and you're smart, then yes sometimes you won't revive because it's a death sentence. But sometimes it'll be easy as fuck. People playing solo won't have that opportunity at all. It's just not on the table. I know tarkov isn't a game about balance necessarily, but it's a baffling decision game design wise. Like it's clearly just BSG trying to hustle new players thinking there's a population of shitters out there who won't play with their friends because they're scared of killing killed out of the blue.
