She then used lvl1 of Rinne's new inherit and dealt 4k damage each to 3 enemies at a fraction of the SP cost relative to the MP being used for the spell. Opportunity cost is a thing. You COULD stack a billion buffs on Gerulf and have him deal 20k damage after turns in a single attack. Or you can have 3 Fighters deal 35k damage over the 3 turns with no setup and without relying on buffs and debuffs to do so. You can play the game however you want but just because you find an alternate strategy doesn't make it meta.

It’s also a piss easy game where 99% of your power comes from gear, and the only difficult fights they’ve created are pretty binary “you must have this much ASPD to ride” or “you must have all the Dark element human niggas in the game at level 70 to ride” or “you must have this much Instant Death resistance” checks.The rest are circumvented by pacing yourself and going with the flow of the fight instead of trying to dump as much damage as soon as possible unless you can do enough to kill it in one round.

Always have an anti-confusion incense up, and maybe a freeze one as well if possible. On free turns my Yeka casts Cortu, which helps a bit against Labadios. I use La spells and focus on the pillars when they spawn (with Berka and Yeka, my Camille comes with like 6 Inferno Scrolls though I rarely use them). My MC, Lana and Abe have MoF which makes the fight very easy, but I was clearing it anyways even before giving them those inherits. Berk is my MVP in the fight, maybe a Disciplined Asha can take her place with the extra HP she gets.

Is anyone else worried this might kill the game? Astral Break was a major whale investment. If their shit has a chance to get nerfed down the line they'll be less likely to whale. I've never been against whales playing their own little power fantasy if it subsidized the rest of us. This might be a step too far. Since Yuzu is very SP hungry, and Priest buffs/cleanses are so cheap, I've had a lot of success just draining her pool with Hue 5 and then transitioning to a buff/cleanse support. Since she wants an Alice inherit, and is really fast, she can Porto others snd cleanse Status Effects before they act. Even with her tiny MP pool she can do this multiple times. That way you can have your Knights/Fighters on healing duty instead since they an equip Staffs. Food for thought since Drecom for whatever reason refuses to release a Mage/Priest/Healer beastgirl.

Not woah so amazing, but has higher softcaps than a lot of skills, especially for multi hit and as a legendary skill it is cheaper to push to level 3 with codexes compared to normal skills like ESS/PAOS. Arboris was the go-to but his stonks are on the way down and he's likely to go to adventurer bone three in like 3 months so the same reason against picking as Abenius.

If you really want to try get 1 relic wep by doing missions for gil currency: for reference at endgame level it took maybe 3-4hrs to speed through story twice with a few lucky drops and have enough gil to buy out 1 relic weapon's worth of mats in the exchange but im killing things in <2 rounds and im not sure how easy that is at your scaled level. Its all down to how much you value your time in a side quest vs just clearing main story.
