Why do the DQ games and that one Sandland thing do a better job at emulating Toriyama's art direction than every other studio that makes a DB game? Anytime Hirano talks about Xenoverse 3 he goes on about how much input came from Toriyama but even the XV3 models just look like they're from a slightly better-looking Xenoverse as opposed to something Tori-inspired. This is just so odd. Going from a moba to capture the flag is changing a game's genre. I know sequels may sometimes change genre to an extent, but the same game changing that much? How many times has something like this happened before?

Hey I remember a Dragon Ball Game franchise that was very popular in Japan, but the second it came worldwide it tanked the series to the point of them never making another port again.Coincidentally, it was also a DB game which required... reading and thinking.

Dokkan and Legends are designed to pretty much go on forever but they still need to make new mobile games to maintain the license.
