No one here cares, but this game is kinda fucking annoying to try to get through as a new/returning player. I played until near the end of Season 2 before I got bored of MD, trying to come back since Meursault's chapter is next and trying to beat Canto 6 with a bunch of underleveled garbage IDs has been an experience. And I bet it gets even harder and each level gets even grindier. This definitely is a game designed first and foremost for the people who have been playing it continuously since launch, and fuck anyone else. Anyways long story short fuck this Wolfcliff fight for happening immediately after the game forced me to level up Heathcliff for his fight against himself.

Canto 9's pacing makes a lot of sense when you realize it's stilted and all over the place on purpose. The entire idea of the Canto thematically is children who are forced to fill the roles of their parents, growing up suddenly. Like the characters, we have a hard time grasping what's going on, until it's too late.
