During Thyme's quest, SL steals the third anomaly that they need for the "game," which has a snowball effect of killing a lot of people stuck in a dream/past(?), including our Nanally. But Alphard secretly contacted Daff and gave her a mission to ensure the safety of those people through a "special containment protocol," an event we didn't see.The "game," the Fogden game, requires offerings to activate, so the time anomalies weren't needed for the abilities themselves, they just needed to be worthy enough to be a sacrifice?
