I liked Engage! It was a cool anniversary game that celebrated the previous lords. No it wasn't very mature story wise and the aesthetic was pretty controversial (I think it had some good designs mixed in, at least) but the rings were a fun one time gimmick that shook up the formula and let you do some cool stuff that wasn't possible in other FE games.
