I genuinely don't understand how Toei keeps fucking up something as basic and simple as planning out the series beforehand. "We like to change the show on the fly to suit the audience and trends after getting feedback", yeah that's a great idea when it doesn't derail, you aren't losing episodes to random shit, and you don't end up with limp half-assed meandering arcs that don't amount to anything. Just do Ghost Game but with three distinct major plot arcs and some sprinkles of plot/foreshadowing thrown around, then if you lose any episodes or have to cut things short you can cut away some of the episodic eps and mini-arcs while still having a well written and cohesive arc to fall back on. You can have your cake AND eat it if you actually plan ahead.
