Strategic bombers were always a mistake to make playable aircraft in regular gamemodes.Just like artillery in world of tanks, their gameplay is too passive and they are incapable of playing more actively in a practical manner in most situations due to their mechanical capabilities. Many of them are barely more capable of engaging gameplay than cargo planes or paratrooper planes.This also applies to many heavier tactical bombers, but some of them are at least as agile as heavy fighters, making those specific bombers capable of active gameplay.

There's no reason to bother with bases (and ground units for that matter) when no one can respawn so it's infinitely easy to just wipe the enemy team and any attempt at PvE only ends up griefing your team. I reckon bombers would fit decently into WW2-era Nuclear Escalation (well, just Escalation at that point) if they didn't have to land on the shitty short era-appropriate frontline airfields and had mid-air rearm points over the airfields. There, they wouldn't be annoying to deal with in a PvP aspect but would also contribute to their team effort.

If it did, it would be facing off against T-70s and KV-1s and it would be no fun for the people getting killed. So the Tiger is tiered up against the very tanks that were up-gunned to deal with it. For instance, the T-34-85 and 76mm Shermans and Hellcats were specifically developed later in the war to counter German heavy armor. But honestly the Tigers are at a pretty good spot balance-wise and have a solid combo of armor, mobility, and firepower. If you're having trouble I can link you some youtube videos that might be helpful.
