Luckily my druid spot is secured but my guild might require me to get an alt for next tier and I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Also, think about it like this. Gearing is indeed easier now than it was ever before but that's just a veil to keep people gearing more characters since there's a power creep in .5 and .7 and you're always behind by design. The smartest move is to gear at .7 for a couple of weeks if you do not care about maze+ pooshing or cutting edge. On the other hand, if you do enjoy learning new specs and gearing them you'll have a decent time, maybe you'll find a spec you enjoy before Blizzard decides to put it in the gutter next patch.
