The higasa has pretty low base damage so the serration looks cool but it balances out to a mid gun. They are easier to rank up so if you are really new and low on endo maybe they are a good purchase if you really want to grind the pearls.

Nice riven. I remember testing this a while ago and found pure Slash or Blast similarly good. If you can get a valence override (for heat) blast is probably the way to go.
Blast doesn't scale from heat and cold individually so you'd want to replace p cryo with elementalist as soon as possible, unless the weighting goes to crap. Xata's/Thermal Transfer will make it way better too.
