Have I gotten worse with age? I beat shogun 1 with every faction when I was like 12, I had no trouble in W1 and 2, but now I just can't get anywhere in W3 unless I play chorfs. No matter what I get overrun from multiple sides eventually making me too tired to go on

They tried fixing this by giving a few factions attrition mechanics on friendly territory but>AI doesn't care about attrition>a lot of provinces are so small that an army would be unlucky to have to idle in one for even a single turn before attacking, most can just cross your borders and attack in one turn making the attrition irrelevant anywayreal talk if attrition did anything at all to AI and you could upgrade a settlement with movement reduction in territory it would be a lot smoother, give you time to recruit actual troops as a reactionary force instead of RoRs.
