Silver bullet banlist hits aren't magically going to fix fundamental game design choices. Giving the second player extra resources is at best a bandaid solution that only addresses the symptoms.It's not an accident or a mia culpa from Konami innocently printing a couple of bad eggs. It's two consecutive decades of consistent rake-stepping unanimously across 5+ different formats, year after year after year. There's more than enough evidence that the game state isn't due to incompetence, it's very intentional maliciousness.The literal ONLY solution is a player-made and player-run format similar to MTG's Commander (IN SPIRIT, not mechanics) that divorces the game from Konami's cancerous policy.
