We used to have a co-op mode but they would rather delete the game mode than fix it. The armada guild system has completely lost its worth. The game's in its perilous state right now and I doubt it will be fixed. Just play the game for the story, follow the guide in the OP, and ignore the cancer that is Part 2 if you have the patience to do so.
