For whatever reason they refused to open an EU server, meanwhile Octo got progressively better, released 1.18.1 content and even their own custom content like 25 quest log. People will not reroll on a shady server that is yet to prove itself and ditch their 3 months of gameplay for basically the same product.They did a terrible market analysis, they lost because they were late to the scene by 2.5 months.What's even sadder is that in Ravencraft's infamous 5G post, they say "No language barrier, more enjoyment." Those retards really thought the playerbase would be split between Capybara SEA and Ravencraft server, and not Octo and Ravencraft. They severely underestimated Octo, gave it enough time so that it would be in a working place with old Turtle guilds migrating and paid the ultimate price: Losing. All they had to do was release early, especially during Octo's first 1.18 migration attempt which was a disaster and they had to roll everything back.
