Nobody even talks about how wilds is the THIRD GENERATION where story (and not immersion like back in the day) is the focus of mainline and they're still just dipping their toes in the water with story stuff. We only just got the dialogue tree shit and naturally it's half-assed. We should have last of us, uncharted, god of war, etc level storytelling in mainline at this point if that's the direction they chose. It's just an embarrassment that they pick a new lane for mainline and then do the bare minimum anyway.
