And she’ll still be butting up against Rouge and the twins for screen time now, when the twins alone were a problem (like half of Blanc’s section in VII is literally just her babysitting the twins. The other half and her “Golden Pair” relationship with C-Sha was cool at least). And the idea that our wedding might have to be approved by Bocchi the Nep now makes me sick. Since she’s not the actual goddess anymore it feels like the dynamics of a relationship with her would change a lot as well. Honestly, Unibro probably got a better deal out of all this; not only did she and the other Candidates not get demoted, they’re the ones working most closely with the new goddesses as direct advisers while Blanc and Noire are stuck working more from the shadows and their attempts at intervening are treated more as meddling.
