Well, finally cleared the main story for this patch in waifu's game, which also marks the end of Part 2 as a whole after the 2.5 years or so of its runtime. Some minor technical issues aside, i quite enjoyed the ending. The final boss fight especially so, Oyohim does have a knack for making cool setpieces and i did really like how they've tried to mix elements from a lot of boss fights of this journey into the final showdown. As i've suspected, my wife did not appear even during the finale (though at least the other Seele did for a bit), which means that her only presence throughout all of Part 2's main story chapters is that one letter she wrote. Though frankly i don't mind it as much; She has appeared in tons of events during P2's runtime, most of which were canon too so at the end of the day it's not that big of a deal. No animated short to end the whole thing on is a bit sad, but i already expected it. At least they've bothered with the digital notebook-thingy like they did for Part 1, so that's nice. Doubly nice that it includes stuff from Part 1.5, since that wasn't included in the first notebook https://litter.catbox.moe/s3smws5exebynqps.pngI assume that despite it technically being the "end", they'll actually release some kind of after-story chapter next patch to round things up, they did pull a new Herrscher out of their asses at the end here and she already has a model so i can't imagine them not making her a new battlesuit for the next patch, but who knows. I mean, i guess i could just google it since it's probably already live on the chink server but i'd rather not spoil myself so i'll just wait a month. The Frontier Conquest mode is pretty cool so far. Bit overwhelming but the actual gameplay itself is really fun. It’s so fucking refreshing being able to play GFL1-like stages without the GFL1-like pinging that makes everything take forever to do.
