Also started going zekes first instead of bandle pipes and seeing far more success. The extra attack speed doesn't seem to trump the ult CDR and slow when you emerge. I really dislike how 'safe' you have to play as ADC. It feels like you can't go anywhere, even walk to a wave that's just a little out of tower range without any of the 5 people on the enemy dropping everything they're doing to come kill you since you're such a free piñata unless your name is Ashe or Caitlyn. I don't know where this current meta came from since I haven't been playing SR very much at all but I really wish they'd just very forcefully, very drastically change it because it's very unfun and not in the way the streamer manchildren say it is.

A Doublelift that plays in SoloQ will have a lower and less consistent success rate than he would if it was in premade of 5. He is still a good ADC on his own merit, the difference is whether or not he has players that allow a good ADC to express their skill. There's a lot of solid players in gold 1 through platinum in Classic that just have really bad teamfight skills. As soon as there's too many bodies they just flop. It's interesting, because I think quite a few of these players would be top caliber if they could clean up who they target, how they position, what abilities get cast on who and not just dumping cooldowns in a panic, etc.
