Considering subsumes, how many frames there are and how cosmetics don't tend to keep frame's identity anymore and the absolutely dogshit design of all recent frames nowadays (Follie, S&O, the upcoming frame) the visual identity doesn't matter at all anymore. So having an option to use any body and helmet you want would improve customization, especially when some frames have zero fucking options while others have dozens.

If Gara's 2 is hit by the 4+1 combo, the 2 will refresh its duration and increase its dps by how much damage the 4+1 combo did. As Gara, you should put your 2 on yourself, the defense objective, and any allies who will stand still long enough for you to aim at them, then you spam 4+1 combo. If you like Gara's 3 you can use the augment to generate energy, but her 3 is the subsume slot because the other abilities all have synergy/combos while 3 is just generically decent.
